Zach Lifton is a Hazards Geologist at the Idaho Geological Survey.
He uses many techniques and tools, including UAVs, to study earthquakes and landslides. He regularly operates UAVs to collect aerial photographs, which can be processed into detailed 3D models of the ground surface. Zach holds an FAA remote pilot certificate.
